Symbol of an Eternal City, The Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, is an oval amphitheatre located in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy. Built in between AD 72-80 of concrete and sand, it is the largest amphitheatre ever constructed. The Colosseum is situated just east of the ancient Forum Romanum (on the left).
