Barrel cross

Another reminiscence after war activities in this region. Take a notice what street cross (on the right) is made of. It’s a barrel of German 88mm cannon “Flak” used widely as an anti-tank weapon during WW2. Interesting, barrel was cast from high quality steel which, after over 70 years, does not corrode at all.
