Urania-Weltzeituhr

One of my favourite remainings of the East Berlin. Urania-Weltzeituhr, or the “World Clock Urania” located in Berlin Alexanderplatz shows the current time in 24 time zones of the world. It has a form of 24-gon mounted on a metal base with a height of 2.7 meters and topped with a model of the solar system. The clock was designed by Erich John and opened Oct. 2, 1969.
